This stunning table was created in 1986 by Maurizio Salvato for Saporiti Italia, one of only a few created in this style & color, it evokes the subtle whimsy of Memphis Milano Style. Maurizio Salvato, an architect & industrial designer, has always been very conscious of the colors used and how they are shown on his pieces. This table has been constructed of wooden shapes, done in high lacquer & placed on a textured powder coated mocha tone metal frame the rotates to allow for various formations of the shapes. Has some wear to the lacquer.
Saporiti Italia, was known for featuring the design of designers they felt were innovative in their approach to designing furniture. When chosen, Maurizio Salvato did not disappoint in this iconic design capturing the geometric playfulness of the era with soft millennial pink and strong teal. A defining piece for any 80s or 90s interior.
